Technical 02:05
Did you get what you wanted, Left the house, With only one foot off the ground, And I said take me away, Take me away, And you'll find, That I'm still here, I'm in your hair, Im in your soul, Im in your bones, Did you get what I'm saying half the time? Or must i always just remind? And she said, You don't know me, you don't know me, You don't know a single thing about me, You don't know me, you don't know me, You don't know a single thing, Oh but your wrong, I'm educated, I've been too long, Manipulated, But now I'm strong, Rejuvenated, And vindicated by the fact that you are not my lady,

By A String 02:52
And you, you had me by a string, Pulling gently ust to move my hands and feet, And i could, no i could no longer take, The burning aching feeling my limbs would start to break, So cut my strings and set me loose, Let me find the me i knew, I'm a standup guy I aint got much to lose, So cut my eyes and sew my mouth, Give me a piece of your heart so i can make you smile, Aint no room for tryin to chase you, And i felt, I felt that this was right, Until i noticed you left yours and came for mine, And i think, i think we need some space, To sort the things that make our hearts ache and break, So cut my strings and set me loose, Let me find the me i knew, I'm a standup guy I aint got much to lose, So cut my eyes and sew my mouth, Give me a piece of your heart so i can make you smile, Aint no room for tryin to chase you,

Denver 04:22
What’s the weather like in Denver? About midway through September, I swear that I knew it, But just couldn’t remember, What’s the weather like in Denver? T shirts or thick sweaters? Keep sendin me letters, And I’ll hope this gets better, I’d find out real soon if my phone would update, And then I could call you, and awkwardly explain, All the troubles and the changes in my life as of late, And you wouldn’t say a word until I stop to even breathe, Cause I get kind of nervous but I never stop my beat, Cause I’m sure that my service won’t become regrets to me, And I’m beggin you now, on both of my knees, Spare me this nonsense and tell me, What the weathers like in Denver? About midway through September, I swear that I knew it, But just couldn’t remember, What’s the weather like in Denver? T shirts or thick sweaters? Keep sendin me letters, And I’ll hope this gets better, And I'm sittin in my room and I don't know what to say, cause anything and everything reminds me of the days, Where we both lived in Florida and my life was great, But you had to get the hell out on the first flight you could take, and I've sat round too long I think my legs will start to break, I've got to take some chances not sit around and wait, For what could of been, I want it all now, Don't bother to answer ill see it, When I'm flying out to denver, Cause I'm comin in september, I thought that i blew it, But you called and said never, What's the weather like in denver, Tshirts or thick sweaters, Ill pack for the summer, And we'll see it through the winter,

12 Steps 02:13
I took my twelve steps, Strut my stuff, Then I tried havin my own but never had enough, I need a restroom, Puke my guts, Cause my stomach is filled with lies and cigarettes, I need a pay phone, Call my paps, Tell him thanks for not stickin around it don’t matter much, I wanna get out, Leave my home, I wanna forget everything ive ever known, I took my twelve steps, I took my twelve steps, I took my twelve steps, Strut my stuff,

Seven Years 03:34
And you, You called the shots, you needed time alone, and now you've got, All you need, And the way that you left, And the marks on my chest, and the darkest thoughts in your head, They all remain, With you, Yeah thats my ex girl on the dance floor we had dated for four years, And now she's dancin with strangers, And not a damn thing i can do about the weather always rainy central florida in my town, Its left a bad taste on my tongue, And I cant seem to wash it out, And I cant seem to wash it out, And i cant seem to wash it, You dont know me, Why are you around?, They say that every seven years your body gets rid of old cells, And replaces them with new ones, It doesnt really matter much but when I'm twenty nine there wont be any of me that you've touched, Its all been thrown in the garbage, And maybe then ill wash it out, And maybe then ill wash it out, And maybe then ill wash it, You dont need me, Why are you still here? And you, You called the shots, you needed time alone, and now you've got, All you need, And the way that you left, And the marks on my chest, and the things that turn our blood red, They all remain, With me, With me, With me.

about

We recorded this 5 track EP, with studio musicians on bass and drums(see album credits). It was recorded and mixed in two days. We went in determined to record as many as we could, and as a result we realized time is money. We managed to finish the five tracks, and they define us as a band. It is 5 of our favorite tracks from our first EP "No Milk No Problem". It is a crisp and clear sound and lyrics have also been tweaked as well. We are proud of this EP and look forward to releasing a new one this July, titled "NO FLY ZONE" with all new music we have been working very hard on! Long live the Drop!

A Special Thanks to Bob and Eddie for doing an amazing job with bass and drums, as well as Ron Jeffreys for helping produce our sound from acoustic to a bigger band. And most of all thanks goes out to John Moore, executive producer and future band manager; we couldn't have done this without you, so in a way this album is dedicated to you.
